Amaera Felder has been studying and teaching movement and body awareness for over 20 years. Classically trained in ballet and modern dance with a BA from Point Park College, she has danced professionally in troupes for over 15 years. She studied for her MA in Exercise Physiology at the University of Pittsburgh, she worked at the University of Pittsburgh Cardiac Rehab Center and also the Harmerville Rehab Center. She was the Stress Management Facilitator at Monongahela Hospital for ten years. Amaera completed her studies at Temple of Kriya Yoga and is registered with Yoga Alliance, a national organization which then can allow medical insurance to cover Yoga Rehabilitation. Amaera has studied and taught Astanga, Iyengar, Kundalini, Hatha Yoga, and Meditative Movement. She continues her quest for knowledge through her students and traveling to or inviting masters to the studio.

 

Yoga is introduced to help riders find a more relaxed body and mind in order to have a more centered position and a more effective frame of mind needed to establish better balance in their riding and healthier lifestyles. Classic al Yoga Studio for everyone featuring Hatha and Deep Relaxation Yoga to create a unique class. These classes will focus on the elongation of the muscles, strengthening of the body as well as increasing the metabolism and relieving stress. Students will become more centered with ease of mind and movement to create better balance and health in their riding and everyday lives.
